There's a new video on-line about the Solar Wind Tower in Australia. At 6.7MB, it's slow to load on dialup, but great on broadband and very interesting. This wind tower will be one kilometer, 3,280+ feet high, and the tallest structure on earth. It is designed to collect heat at the base, and the rising wind will generate 200Megawatts of power. You will be able to ride an elevator to the top of the structure and walk around the opening.
