In May 2003 we became the first timber frame designer, manufacturer and erector in England and Wales to become registered to ISO 9001 : 2000. In December 2003, we became the first timber frame designer, manufacturer and erector in England and Wales to become registered for the Design, Manufacture and Supply of FSC engineered Structures. For this reason we only recruit quality partners. In addition, we run a 'just in time' operation, and need suppliers that we can work closely with to achieve this.
Part of our ISO 9001:2000 procedure necessitates supplier evaluation. All our suppliers are graded on a 3 monthly basis (or more often depending on conduct) with regards to reliability, quality of product and service, and speed of response. All suppliers are initially graded a probationary. Suppliers that under perform are downgraded to and are discontinued. Suppliers that perform well are upgraded and treated as a preferred supplier resulting in their receiving the most business.
In order for us to consider you as a potential supplier we require the Supplier Application Form to be completed and returned to us - this will ensure that the right people see your information.
