UKTFA

The UKTFA is the single organisation speaking for Timber Frame in the UK which now comprises 140+ member companies including timber frame manufacturers; industry suppliers; architects and engineers; builders and contractors; erectors; and other trade associations.

Benfield ATT are actively involved in working with the UKTFA to promote Timber Frame as the only environmentally-responsible way to build. Our links do not stop there however. Indeed, our MD Dr Michael Benfield, is the Chairman of the UKTFA's Construction Industry Training Committee, dedicated to the training and development of all UKTFA member employees.

The UKTFA is genuinely able to speak for the timber frame industry as it represents over 80% of UK timber frame manufacture. Timber frame manufacture has a turnover of over £300 million and a 14% share of the UK housing market. The UKTFA anticipates further penetration for timber frame of the UK housing and construction sector year on year.
